For clothing, home decor (drapes, etc.). I’m finding it hard to find organic fabric to at least try to make things, let alone ready made which seems to always be insanely expensive.
If you know of any site/company (especially for US) that offers reasonably priced fabrics or ready made drapes, bedding, clothing, etc. Please share, thanks!
There’s not just cotton, but also hemp and bamboo fabric that’s organically certified. You’d think with the green movement, farmers would jump on the wagon. I am seeing some stores offer ONE item that’s organic recently. Hopefully this will become more widespread and available.

It’s New Years Eve we had a few too many to drink and decided it was a good idea to ride a crib mattress down the stairs. Not one of the best ideas we’ve ever had. I have a front loading high efficiency washer. I use Tide detergent that is compatible with hE washers. I cleaned out every nook and cranny of my washer. It has helped, but still some items (especially bedding and towells) get light dots and marks all over them! I’ve drinken regular milk all my life and absolutely hated because not only did it taste funny and nasty, it gave me stomach problems. Today I tasted some organic milk called Horizon. I was skeptical at first because I didn’t think spending an extra few dollars on something that might be exactly the same thing would make a difference. When I tasted it…good lord. It was the most delicious thing I’ve ever drank. What in the world happens in the organic process that makes it taste so good?
lol, wow what a loaded question. I’ve tried generic whole milk and then I tried this Horizon organic brand and it tasted so incredibly different that I couldn’t even recognize it. Obviously people are drinking the wrong brand, or this over-processing actually makes the milk taste better. Or it could be MSG. That makes everything taste better.
roseleah: YESSS I bought an organic gallon of milk from Nature Valley. It had that SAME disgusting bland generic taste. Afterwards, my stomach acted up even more than it does with regular milk. That really pissed me off. If there are any other brands that taste good, feel free to suggest them!
