The following classifies the processes in the purification of water. State whether each is a physical or chemical change and why:
1) A coarse screen made of metal bars filters large particles and trash, such as bottles and cans.
2) Chlorine is added to kill bacteria and viruses. It also helps to remove dissolved hydrogen sulfide: H2S (aq) + 4 CL2 (aq) + 4 H2O(l)——-> 8 Cl- (aq) + SO2-4 (aq) + 10 H+ (aq)
3) A process called flocculation removes suspended particles, such as clay and micro-organisms. Lime, CAO, and aluminumn sulfate are added. They react together to form aluminum hydroxide.
4) The water is passed through a bed of graded gravel and sand in a filtering tank.
5) The water is often saturated with oxygen by spraying it into the air, which helps to remove volatile organic compounds.
6) The water receives a second treatment with chlorine to kill bacteria. Ammonia is added to make the chlorine last longer in the piping. Some cities add sodium fluoride.

I keep getting the same sickness over and over! Seems like every 3-4 months, or when the season changes. I have a runny nose, sore throat and cough and in bed for 5-10 days! At first I start feeling really run down, then the runny nose starts. Then the sore throat and last the cough, and I lose my voice EVERY TIME! I try taking vitamins and I exercise a lot to keep in shape. I eat organic healthy foods, but I’m the only one in my household getting sick every season! Why is this? Its been this way since I was a little girl. I don’t think this is normal.

Okay here are the facts before I ask my question:
-I adopted a 4 month old kitten from a shelter a week ago
-She is spayed, vaccinated, wormed AND litter trained
Today I was sitting in my living room with my kitten and she was playing as usual with her fake mice and whatever else. She jumped up onto our lounge chair and started scratching at it like she sometimes does when she’s playing, anyway I didn’t take any notice of this until I realised she had been doing it for some time. So I got up to check and she had PEED all over the seat. I promptly picked her up and put her into her room. (We have a small room in our house specially for her with her litter tray and bed in it etcetera) and cleaned up the pee.
My question is, why did she do this? She is definitely litter trained and since bringing her home this is the first slip up she’s had. We were using pellet litter but changed it to a more organic brand and I was thinking maybe this is why she didn’t use her litter box, but that morning when she did a poo she used it just fine!!
Why did she decide to pee on the chair and not use her litter box like she had been? Was it because we changed litter? If so, why did she use it that morning to pee and poo and not when she peed on the chair?

Is it possible to dye woven organic cotton with chlorophyll and zero chemicals? How to do it to obtain a pastel green or mint green shade? (It’s the shade typically used in baby clothes & bedding in color green)
I’ve spilled liquid chlorophyll on my counters and clothes before and the stains are premanent. I’m not worried about "colorfastnest" I know it will last. I’m googling and getting nowhere.
I have chemical allergies and was looking for colorgrown organic cotton, in a woven fabric, color mint green or even dusty seafoam green but I can’t find that and why I want to try to do it myself. (If you have links to that, please feel free to share!) )

Is it just a matter of them adding chemicals, or is there something else going on? I’d prefer to eat "natural" foods but am unclear on exactly what happens to foods when they "process" them for freezing, canning, whatever or just making "unnatural" foods like pizza rolls, etc. (I am NOT going to give up pizza rolls under any circumstances.)
